HIRED

Zoe Brookes now works full time at TWIG, a Boston florist, as lead assistant to both of its retail locations. Her schedule varies, but it encompasses every day of the week (sadly, sometimes including Sundays). But she is getting PAID and DOING SOMETHING FUN.

Anyways, yes, that happened, as did a short visit from my mom and a tall ships festival (photos eventually). Thinking of several new print/pattern ideas for the portfolio after having such an up and down week, and a visit to the New England Aquarium...

a. ridiculously poppy colors, fun happy dance moves, fireworks

b. seals!

c. penguins!

d. octopus! insert plural!

e. re-trying the venus fly trap print idea

f. something margarita inspired

g. abstract shapes inspired by fish patterns and/or jellyfish

h. hula hoops, somehow
