Back to Textiles

hurrah for the return of the textile designs! These are several of the floral prints that I've been meaning to upload for quite some time. Also playing with Thistle "stars"...This is a Pincushion Protea flower. Its solid image is also much like a clover.

This is an Art Nouveau-esque print of Gloriosa Lillies.

Keeping it cleaner

Going to tone down some of the colors to match my website a little bit more. Nothing big is changing though, no worries.

Lime Tree Cove

So I'm working with Lime Tree Cove to create some awesome packaging and design work for their product 'The Barmaid' and its related products, like flavor kits. I just thought it would be nice to post some of the patterns and packaging kits here. They can also be seen on my website. All 5 coming soon!

These are all of the packaging patterns for all 5 flavors. There is also a combo pack, but the pattern is just all of these flavors combined into one pattern.

Perhaps my favorite flavor AND packaging. This is the packaging for the flavor pack "fresh lemon", along with a proposed custom pattern for the Barmaid itself, which we may try to figure out how to do, depending on peoples' opinions.

The second flavor, "coco berry", which works wonders for Chocolate Martinis and winter drinks. Here is where you can see I've proposed to color the inside of the packaging (pink in this flavor's case) for an added glow.

More soon!

Deck Garden

This is Shay. He is my cat. Shay likes boxes.
This is Bronwyn. She is my friend. She likes pizzas.

I've been growing a lot of plants in containers out on the porch, some of which have been more satisfying than others. Also some generally overdue fun things...
MINIATURE SNAPDRAGONS!!! I grew these little guys from seeds, nothing more satisfying...
These are huge Cayenne Peppers, what do I cook with them? No clue. They sure are fun though!
Sweet peas, which are kind of hilarious because the plants themselves are pretty flimsy, so the peas REALLY weigh the little guys down...
The beginnings of my cucumbers, which are currently now the size and shape of small water balloons...

More actual pieces of art to come (although now I want to make cucumber art). Oh, and check out www.EloquentInk.com because I may be designing some plates!!!

Floral Prints

So it was bound to happen: the flower shop has bled into my design work. Later on tonight I will be uploading a small collection of three black and white "floral prints" that challenge what you know about zebra prints. Get ready.

These prints will be submitted to Crate and Barrel, as well as potentially being sent to Spoonflower for a small fabric run.
