DONE

Just a quick note: I now have a BFA.

Another quick note: I will be moving out of Providence tomorrow, into Cambridge the next day, and looking for jobs the day after--depending on what Crate and Barrel says.

Another note: buy my book!

Charity Auction Tonight

So tonight is the Charity Auction event for the Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL), who I have been taking photos for lately. I have donated one large print and several books, so hopefully those will go for a good bid and can help out the shelter.

Here's a small collection of the prints I have taken:

All of these photos are available for sale and can also be found in my book, "POUND", which is available at Blurb.com for sale.

Going for Formal Fun

Yay! More sea creature-inspired decor!

Seahorse formal pattern applied to wallpaper.

...and the design itself.

Formal Merhorse design applied to a couch, accent color needed.

...and the design.

SQUIDS

So I really wouldn't mind if people remembered me as the girl who put squids into fashion...

So this is where the whole "squid thing" started. A fun, lively skirt.

Honestly, who knew? I LOVE this design, especially how it looks like a floral print.

Switched gears a little with a new color scheme--these are known as the "chandelier squids"

Wallpaper design for a full room.

Again, most of these designs are only in digital form, but there are fabric swatches available of all the squid patterns, available for viewing. Please contact me at: zbrookes@g.risd.edu for info.

The Lure Line Collection

So I feel like I should start this blog off with a bang. Below is my semi-complete Lure Line tabletop collection, with the physical prototypes soon to come:

The Bait Ball dinner plate, shark bowl, and shark mug.

The Marlin dinner plate/salad plate design.

More mug designs, pictured here with the bait ball plate again.

The bubble platter.

An extra design that might be used: the dolphin pod.

The lobster butter dish (haha) and the dolphin spout.

All of these images are currently only Photoshop files, but they are being created for me as real prototypes from a very friendly company, which I should have soon, available to show in person. If you have any interest in purchasing any of these designs, please contact me at: zbrookes@g.risd.edu
