The Photos Behind "Raising Turkeys"
So the first set of two from The Gowey/Dietrich Farm is now live on how2heroes.com, and here are some of the photos from that day!
Walter Gowey's profile, you may notice all those trees in the top left corner--well there used to b a huge eyesore of a building there, so god bless the Clone Tool. Thanks Photoshop!

New Seasonal Packaging
I'm back on the packaging designs for Lime Tree Cove, specifically "seasonal flavors" and holiday specials. Still trying to figure out what flavors best represent Spring AND classy drink rims...suggestions?
Valentine's Day, the name is kinda...standard, but it fits pretty damn well.I like this combo pack a lot! It's still a "proposal" because the flavors have not been made yet, but I'm pushing for a blueish sugar with mint leaves (Wintermint) and a Cocoa flavor to partner it.

Egg Nests, via how2heroes.com
Another gem from the "office": Egg Nests via Annie Copps from Yankee Magazine. We did these on a shoot (perfect for the day after Thanksgiving) and they were delicious. I made them on a whim and its just so EASY I could do it from memory. Watch out though, they are filling!
Get your leftover stuffing, sausages (if you didn't have them in the stuffing already), an egg per nest, and some herbs/spices to taste.
DELICIOUS. Just make sure the egg is done. It's fantastic, filling, and perfect for breakfast. Check out how2heroes for tons of Thanksgiving recipes.

Holiday Art Sale
This is just a little heads up that I *might* be selling the first official round of my Lure Line plates at the Rhode Island School of Design Holiday Art Sale. It is for Alumni only, and I have been invited to join a table with some other Illustration Graduated. The opportunity is amazing, so all that I need now is the ability to have them made in time (for the right price) to get into the sale.
Keep an eye out for further updates on this. Also, other pieces that will probably be featured in the art sale will include potentially silkscreened aprons, napkins, place mats, and who knows what else.
The RISD Alumni Holiday Art Sale is December 12 at the Dunkin Donuts Convention Center in Providence, RI.
